The Two German Rappers

We were there on opening weekend Sunday. I happened by 2 german rapper artists. I thought they were part of the offical crew, however I don't see them in my program.

Towards the end of the day they appeared in the front in the roped off area.

Do they have a name and are they offical or just floaters showing up hoping for a few dollars for their time?

Somethings rotten in Denmark. The only German duo I know of at faire is the German twins (also known as the Tue Idiots). They have worked at Scarborough Renaissance Festival for the past few years but I don't know that they are sanctioned at TRF. If not an official TRF performer, they would risk expulsion and possible legal action if they performed and accepted gratuities inside the gates. The next time you see someone and wonder if they are on cast, look for the official TRF cast/entertainer badge on their person.

If these are the fellows you are speaking of, they probably just visited TRF and did a free bit at the end of the day. I believe if they accepted tips without an official performer's badge, they would be banned from the grounds.

That would be them. I don't remember if they had a badge or not and while their rap called for a dollar, I was passing by and don't know if they got one or not. I do know towards the end of the day they were hanging out in the roped off area with the performance cast. So I don't know if they were kibitzing or part of the show.

Thanks for the Youtube link, they are quite clever and innovative, combining ribald humor, German accents, and rap stylizing all in the same package with very well done costumes.

If they were hanging out with the TRF cast, they might have been invited to do a small bit at the end of the day. Many of the performers at TRF and Scarby know each other. I agree .. the German twins are quite clever and have great garb. They flirt with all the lasses in the lanes at Scarby but I don't think I have seen them at TRF. If I do see them in the coming weeks, I'll try to get a pic and post it here.

I must further disagree quite hardily with your assertion of anything, or anyone, explaining my ex-wife.
