Is Arsene really returning to TRF? The TRF web site has him listed as performing at the Odeon but I'm not sure if the schedule is current/correct. It has Ded Bob moving to the Globe Stage so maybe the Arsene listing is genuine. I'd believe the schedule but they also have Tartanic listed and they are no longer together. Perhaps one of the two new groups that formed from Tartanic members will be there.

Yes he is and im glad. I missed him last year.:) Tartanic is still together just not with the same members. 2 of the original members stayed Adrian Walter and David Macejka. They have a new website also www.tartanic.net Oh they WILL be at TRF this Year with new members 3 to be exact, Also a new cd UNSTOPPABLE.

Thanks, SolRac. This is the value of having performers on a forum. You get good, reliable information. I suspected Arsene might be returning because it would take someone of his caliber to bump Ded Bob over to the Globe Stage. After I posted that question, I looked around and found Arsene's web site.
http://www.arsenedupin.com/ It's not much more than a contact link, list of venues he's performed at and sales of his DVD.
I sent him an email and he responded within 2 hours! He confirmed what you said and indicated he was happy to return to TRF. He signs off on his emails with: Thank You A+ Arsene (Guess that translates to "Thanks a LOT"). :) I also love the way he ends his shows: Ladies and gentlemen, my name is Arsene Dupin and I am from Paris, France. God Bless America.
I had not heard that Adrian was able to keep the Tartanic name for his new band. That's good news and I can't wait to see them perform.

Me too! I've heard some criticism that Adrian is just eye candy for the ladies, but I think that is coming from jealous men. I don't really care what the guys look like because they sound awesome. I notice that Caste In Bronze has very good crowds and most people have no idea what he looks like. :)

My whole fmaily was deeply disappointed when we heard that Tartanic was no more. And getting the news that Adrian had reformed the group AND keeping the name Tartanic, that was great news indeed! We can't wait to see the newly reformed Tartanic.

Have you not hung around til the end of his performance? He takes his mask off and takes a bow. I'm sure that he does that out of sheer necessity; he's dripping with sweat by the end of the performance.

I've watched him perform about 2 or 3 times, but have left immediately after the last number. Did not know he unmasked at the very end. Thanks!

My daughter is in love with his music. We've bought her all of his CDs. I have to admit, he's got not only a creative performance, but also a very unique sound and talent.

I was really glad that Arsene is on this years performance schedule. I looked for him last year and was saddened when he was on stage.
I'm still trying to figure out how he pours out all that water from the flask to the goblet.
A very prefessional performer.

If someone finds out I hope they tell me. He pours that water several times and it never overflows.
