1988 Dragon Tooth tankard

1988 was a great year for collectors as there were several beautiful models produced. Besides the Dragon Tooth, there were some models designed by Real Musgrave: The Knight/Lady-Unicorn/Dragon (with optional pewter lid) and the Pocket Dragon half-tankard (a smaller version of the 1986 full size model, also available with pewter lid). The 1987/88 Excalibur tankard designed by Real was also still being sold.

I've only seen one of the Dragons Tooth steins on ebay. Bidding started at $100, I think. I think the stein sold for something in the neighborhood of $380.

Well, even the starting price was well out of my reach. And I'm in the same boat as you, I have no life, but that's because my wife and kids won't let me. :D

I understand about the price....it surely is a lot to pay for a single tankard.

Somehow I feel safe in assuming that it wasn't him that got to spend the money.
