You're right m' Lady. I just made my reservations this morning for All Hallow's Eve weekend at on of the local area hotels in which also participates in the free shuttle service. The very nice young lady informed that they were booking up fast for Oct/Nov.

She had no idea why. :eek:

It is not 5 star, but it is a good value for the length of time you are there!

I have actually considered The Magnolia Inn in the past. It is probably the closest hotel in the Faire area, but it seems that they really jack up the price during Fest. Perhaps even higher than the ones on I-45. Also, no shuttle service. :eek:

I'm glad to hear this. Someone on the R/F forum last year posted some unflattering information regarding their stay at the Magnolia Inn, so I'm hoping it was the exception rather than the rule. Looks like the majority here have had a good experience and I might check into it myself.

it has come to an official day! official date is Oct. 26. due to work, Sunday is really the only day i can give myself off on the weekend. because im the boss and i make the scheduals... yeah, thats right.

Going to drive down from Ohio for the Friday after Thanksgiving. I always make at least one visit to TRF each year no matter where I'm at. And ever since they started the wine tasting, it's been a tradition for my wife and I to drink a bottle of wine with Marsala and Haley.
