View Full Version : Forum Pinning Ceremonies

I just received a list of eligible members for this week. They are as follows:

AngieP, Asterixgm, Beholden, bobzombie88, Breead, celticcherub, Chuck, cwfluke, Dafydd, DakotaArt (Oh, I guess someone has to pin me:rolleyes:),
danae, DorisMcCunn, Halfdan, heath, i love trf, John the Cooper, LADY LESLEY, ladyann, Markie, MattHarvey, NancyShort, Norberto, Nunyafb, Ottheinrich, philpot, ptdowney, Rapier Half-Wit, Sir Martin, Vixen Sparrow

The first pinning ceremony will be this Saturday immediately following the parade so let's lay between 1:15 and 1:30ish. It will depend on how fast we get organized. It would probably be a good idea to sign in for the ceremony before the parade or right after. Watching the parade from the front of Dragonslayer would also be a good idea so you're sure to be there.

It will be an informal ceremony amongst good friends....I will be pinning all of you (Oh, lucky me:D) and one of you will have to pin me (I don't know who it will be just yet....I will decide on Saturday)

Oh, bring cameras I want lots of pictures so we can post them....

At this time this will be the only ceremony this weekend....unless a large number of you are planning to be here on Sunday instead of Saturday....

Also, you can buy your pins ahead of time and still be part of the pinning ceremonies.

I'm going to be there Saturday. It will be too warm to wear a leather doublet so I will be attired in casual/peasant garb. Got kind of a scraggly beard too. If anyone happens to recognize me, come on up and say hello. :D

LOL Dakota I guess I was posting my comment in the other thread while you were writing this one. Answered a few of my questions here. Excellent info. Will be there bright and early Sat morning.:)

I think Oct 25 would also be a good Saturday for a ceremony...:D

Just to let you all know you can purchase your pin at any time during the day....

If some of you do not want to be part of a ceremony that's fine too....

I'm just excited to finally put some smiling faces with your names....:)

I think Oct 25 would also be a good Saturday for a ceremony...:D
I will be there with my brother Nuny. Hopefully be eligible to be pinned as well. If not, I will be glad to see him pinned.

We usually meet up with friends at the POW Pub after the parade, but maybe I can miss it tomorrow or leave early...I really want to meet everyone but still want to see all my friends at the POW! :confused:

What to do...what to do...I want to be in two places at the same time!!! :(

I HAVE RICHARDS GARB BUT CAN'T MAKE UP MY MIND WHAT TO WEAR ,COURT OR WENCH (HAVE TO BUY MORE STUFF TO GO WITH IT ) MY FRIEND WHO WAS GOING AS WENCH NOW WANTS TO GO IN COURT :eek:
HAVE THE OIL CHANGED IN THE CAR FILLED IT UP READY FOR TOMORROW I WISH WE COUD CAMP ..ONE DAY MAYBE

Just to let you all know the next official pinning ceremony will be on Sat. the 25th after the parade and after the royal court introductions which ends around 1:30ish.

Please come even if you have already been pinned to see all those who haven't.

A while back, Chris said that there were a limited number of DQ forum pins made, but they are still available. Dakota showed up at least a few times this past season at TRF. I saw her on two different weekends but she may have gone more than that.

We ran into Dakota both times we went. Seems she spent alot of time in Sherwood Forest around Circa Paleo. And Sea Devil:

I saw her over in Dove Meadow also ... she was visiting with a pretty friend who performed in the chain maille show.
