Just got a note from Stacy Bakri the Assistant Director of the TRF Performance Company. She's updating TRF's Blog at http://blog.texrenfest.com/

Scroll down to the Oktoberfest JA VOL! where Roger (Poppa Elf) won the Performer of the Day. Does that picture look familiar? Think you have seen it before? Yep you did. That was a pic I took of Roger opening weekend as he was taking time out of his busy schedule to talk to a patron.

I was so honored for Stacy to pick one of my pics for the blog. To me they are nowhere near Paul's or Sir Martin's caliber.

Anyway here's the pic that is going to be used

Congrats, Asterix!! That is a very cool honor to be included in Stacy's blog on the official TRF web site. The photo is excellent and shows one of the TRF Performance Group's most beloved actors pleasing the patrons in his new role.

You are very kind with your comments on some of the pics I take, but as you know, it's mostly being in the right place at the right time. I seriously should have asked you to look at my camera and help me with the flash settings because I messed up a lot of indoor shots last weekend with my DSLR. You've had that nice Nikon for awhile and certainly know how to use it. Keep up the good work!

Thank you all for the kind words. To say I was surprised when Stacy asked if she could use one of my pics is an understatement.

And Sir Martin believe it or not, I have just this year gotten into DSLR photography. Prior to Feb of this year all I had been using was a Canon S230 P&S 3.2 megapixel camera. Once I got the D40 it was a whole new world. I still consider myself a noob at photography but I do love taking pics and it seems that I'm getting a lil better at it..lol

Feel free to pick my brain anytime and I'll do the same since we share an obvious love of photography..:D
