How many of you have purchased custom leather products at TRF? There are many fine shoppes there, so I thought we should have a thread where we told of our experiences with the leather craftsmen/women at TRF. The Ravenswood shoppe mentioned in another thread is an economy leather store with good products, but they were unable to make a custom pouch to suit my needs.
I wanted a larger pouch that was expandable, and had seen one in years past with a sort of "accordion" design that collapsed nicely when it was not full. I couldn't locate one at TRF last year, but found a beautiful pouch at Rev's Armour Werx that was almost what I wanted. Rev told me he could make me a custom pouch with a divider and additional compartment. I paid half down on Pirate Weekend and picked it up two weeks later on Halloween weekend. It is a fine piece of work, matches my garb and has plenty of room inside. I also bought a cool double-ring belt from him. I recommend Rev's for fine leather work. They are located in shoppe #500 (near the blacksmith).
